Caramelised Onions

Making caramelised onions is so easy, & they turn any BBQ into a gourmet feast. They also make a great base sauce for a simple pizza with goats cheese & rosemary.

Simply slice about a KG of brown onions & fry in a dash of olive oil over a low heat, stirring occasionally until they are a deep, dark brown. 

Season with salt & pepper & store in a sealed container in the fridge.
